Life can be challenging, and sometimes having someone who truly listens can make a meaningful difference. I work with adults and couples who want to improve communication, strengthen relationships, build confidence, and navigate life’s challenges. I have a particular interest in working with autistic adults and couples affected by differences in communication and connection.
Before entering the counseling field, I served 27 years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard, including as a military helicopter pilot and in leadership and healthcare roles. Those experiences shaped my appreciation for resilience, relationships, and the different ways people respond to stress and change.
I am completing my Master of Social Work at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. My approach is practical, supportive, strengths-based, and nonjudgmental. Together, we focus on understanding what is happening in your life, identifying what you would like to change, and developing realistic strategies that can help you move forward.
