I enjoy working with individuals and their families seeking help with current or past issues that seem to be affecting their everyday life. I fully believe as a therapist using compassion and understanding can help clients gain confidence in themselves to achieve their goals. I have a passion in working with children, families, and adults. I have experience in variety of issues such as complex trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues, stress, emotional and behavioral problems, parenting, self esteem and many others.
My approach to counseling utilizes trauma informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Person Centered -Therapy. I also have specialized training in EMDR and TF-CBT for those who request those approaches. In addition, I also have experience utilizing play-therapy techniques for my younger clients with emotional and behavioral issues.
